This site is published by Catawba Yacht Club ("CYC", "we", "us") to share information about our sailing program, fleets, racing rules, race results and club news. By using the site you agree to these terms.

You may browse the site and use its information for your personal, non-commercial interest in CYC sailing. You agree not to interfere with the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it, or use it in a way that breaks any applicable law.

Administrative areas of the site are restricted to authorized club volunteers. Accounts are provided at our discretion and may be removed at any time.

Race results, standings and schedules are posted as a convenience and may contain errors or be revised. Scoring inquiries, protests and corrections are handled under the CYC Racing Instructions and the Racing Rules of Sailing — the official scoresheets held by the race committee govern in the event of any discrepancy.

Sailing, racing and being on or near the water involve inherent risk of property damage, injury and death. Participants take part in CYC activities at their own risk and are solely responsible for deciding whether to start or continue in any race, for the seaworthiness of their boat and for the safety of their crew. Nothing on this site is an assurance of safe conditions.

Text, photographs, logos and the club burgee on this site are owned by Catawba Yacht Club or used with permission, and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without written consent. Photographs taken at club events may appear on this site; if you would like an image of you or your family removed, contact us and we will take it down.

The site links to other sites — the main club website, class association pages, weather services, calendars and document shares. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Membership, dues, guest privileges and facility use are governed by the Catawba Yacht Club bylaws, membership terms and club rules, not by this site. Where those documents and this site differ, the club documents control.

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Catawba Yacht Club and its volunteers are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or its content.

We may update these terms as the program and site change. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
